The car is all original, no aftermarket modifications and no paint work, garage kept, non smoker interior and has only 2 long term owners since new. In can not be overstated, the V10 Plus is major upgrade from the standard V10 R8 - it's not just a tune and Audi marketing. The V10 Plus features exclusive 19" lightweight forged-aluminum wheels, Carbon Ceramic brakes, carbon-fiber side blades, carbon front splitter, carbon rear diffuser, Full suspension swap to sport tuned springs and shocks (replaces the soft and prone to failure magnetic ride on all standard R8's), and a revised engine management which produces better throttle response and an additional 25 hp from the 5.2-liter V10 - totaling 550hp. The V10 Plus also weighs in 110 pounds lighters, primarily from the ceramic brakes, sport suspension and forged wheels.
This particular R8 was additionally optioned from Audi with the Full Leather Package w/ Madras Orange contrast stitching, Bang & Olufsen Sound System, and Black Alcantara headliner. It is also important to note that the 2014 model R8 also comes standard with the new S-Tronic dual clutch transmission, replacing the clunky automated-manual transmission R-Tronic system found in 08-12 models. The improvements are night and day in terms of comfort, shift speed, durability and drivability. This S-Tronic transmission remained the standard for all R8's up to current year.
